Dr. Brian Wilson recognized for his Contributions to Biophotonics

Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Senior Scientist Dr. Brian Wilson was elected a Fellow of the Optical Society (OSA) to recognize his 30-year contributions to biophotonics—a field focused on the development and use of optical tools to study biological molecules, cells and tissues. Dr. Wilson’s research examines translational applications for detecting and treating cancer. In addition to his research, he is also being honoured for his achievements in training and teaching.
 
OSA is the leading professional society for scientists, educators, engineers, students and business leaders in the field of optics and photonics. It supports the global optics and photonics research community through technical and professional development, communication of research findings and international meetings.
